The XDS Oxford in-flange UHV single crystal Diamond BPM (scDBPM) utilises proven motion and vacuum technologies from our existing BPM range. This, combined with state-of-the-art diamond-based detectors, provides high precision position and intensity measurements of X-ray beams between 5keV and 20keV.
This solution has already been deployed on 4th generation Synchrotron beamlines and is now available as a standard product.
The UHV Diamond BPM (scDBPM) has been designed for use with monochromatic X-rays and works most efficiently with beamlines in the micron or nano scale.
This system uses a single crystal diamond detector with a 20µm or 50µm sensor. The detector has excellent transparency preventing disturbance of the X-ray beam.
This system uses Stepper Motors as standard for vertical and horizontal movement. Harmonic drives are also available upon request.
The UHV Diamond BPM comes in a DN160CF200 (8”) flange as standard.
