In-Flange Slits
For monochromatic beam applications, XDS Oxford’s range of UHV compatible in-flange slits are a tried and trusted solution. Each pair of independently movable blades is controlled by in-vacuum guides to ensure they remain parallel to each other, and precisely define the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the beam.
Depending on the size, shape and energy requirements of a particular beamline, the in-flange slits can be customised to suit specific needs. Options include:
- Conflat flange size DN100, DN160
- Aperture size
- Blade material, edge type and thickness
- Cooled or uncooled blades
- Absolute or Incremental encoders
- Drain current measurement
