We’re very proud to announce that, at the 2023 Engineering Trust Annual Awards held in February, two of our colleagues were recognised for their commitment and progression.
Angus, currently in his 3rd year, was nominated by his Training Officer for the Apprentice of the Year Award. Angus has thrown himself into his apprenticeship, showing great tenacity and a will to succeed. His determination was rewarded with a Highly Commended award in the category and he should be incredibly proud of this achievement.

Phil joined FMB as an Apprentice Technician in 2008 and, 15 years later, has worked his way through the ranks of the Production department to become Production Manager. In recognition of his progress, Phil was announced as winner of the Trevor Woodger Award for Career Progression. Phil’s story shows Apprentices at the beginning of their own journey that hard work and determination can bring it’s own rewards.

Congratulations to both for their achievements and a huge thank you to all FMB colleagues who offer their support and guidance to our Apprentices. The programme wouldn’t be the success it is without you!
