The XDS Oxford XV Cryocooler has been designed to deliver a highly stable liquid nitrogen flow to remove heat from a remote load and is particularly suited to cooling monochromator and multilayer crystals.
Performance can be optimised via the Control Rack, or via an EPICS interface, to ensure optimal thermal and mechanical stability is achieved.

As it is generated in many “sizes and shapes” every piece of equipment XDS Oxford produce needs to be custom-built to suit the unique characteristics of both the Light Source and the Experimental environment.
